CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- Clerks at two Chula Vista stores were each robbed at knifepoint early Thursday morning, police said.The first robbery at the 7-Eleven convenience store on Melrose Avenue, near East Orange Avenue, was reported about 12:45 a.m., according to Chula Vista police.A light-skinned Hispanic man, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing between 140 and 150 pounds, took an undetermined amount of cash at knifepoint, police said.
In the second robbery, a thin black man, around 5 feet 5 inches tall, used a knife to take an undetermined amount of cash from the CVS Pharmacy on 3rd Avenue, near 4th Avenue, police said.Neither clerk was hurt in the robberies.
