Man Killed In Weekend Hit-And-Run Identified

NORMAL HEIGHTS, Calif. -- A hit-and-run victim killed in Normal Heights this weekend was identified Wednesday by authorities.Carl Marvin Duresseau, 53, was walking north across the 3200 block of Meade Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Sunday when he was hit by an eastbound car, according to San Diego police and the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.Duresseau suffered massive head injuries and died at the scene, San Diego police Officer Brad Ruff said.
Witnesses told police the vehicle sped away after the crash. They described it as a newer white hatchback.
