Courts and all San Diego city, county, state and federal government offices will be closed Monday in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

There will be a one-day delay in trash, yard waste and curbside recycling collection in the city of San Diego.

Parking meters will not be enforced in San Diego and most cities in the county.

There will be no mail delivery, and banks will be closed.

City and county libraries will also be closed, but parks and municipal golf courses will stay open.

Normal government services will resume Tuesday.

No special security precautions will be in effect at Lindbergh Field over the Memorial Day weekend, but travelers were advised to follow the "3-1-1" rule to cut down on security wait times.
