Man Hurt In San Pasqual Valley Motorcycle Crash

POSTED: 8:07 am PDT May 22, 2009

A 37-year-old man is hospitalized Friday with a broken pelvis and other injuries after crashing his motorcycle in the San Pasqual Valley, police said.

The man was speeding on a Yamaha motorcycle westbound on San Pasqual Valley Road when he lost control on a curve and went off the roadway around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, according to San Diego police Sgt. Alan Hayward.

He struck a rock and was ejected from his motorcycle, Hayward said.

His injuries, which include a broken pelvis and laceration to his leg, were not life-threatening, according to the sergeant.
