VALLEY CENTER, Calif. -- Four men are in custody Sunday and a fifth remained at large following what a San Diego County sheriff's lieutenant called "a five-man crime wave."Two men contacted deputies around 10:50 Saturday night at the Harrah's Rincon Casino and told them they'd been robbed, Lt. Mike Munsey said. One victim had a head wound.A deputy spotted the suspects' vehicle in Valley Center about 10 minutes later and gave chase, Munsey said. The suspects' car struck several civilian vehicles and then crashed at Old Castle Road and Rolling Hills Drive, the lieutenant said.Munsey said two occupants of the car were captured immediately and two more were taken into custody after a search. The latter pair suffered dog bites. He said investigators learned two of the suspects are documented members of a Valley Center street gang, and had gotten into a fight at a party at around 9:15 p.m. Saturday and fired shots as they were leaving. They went to another gathering and attacked the party-goers with baseball bats, he said.
