Man Robs Mission Valley In-N-Out Restaurant

POSTED: 7:10 am PDT May 1, 2009

A thin man in his 20s robbed an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Mission Valley shortly before midnight Thursday, police said.

The robbery at 2005 Camino Del Este was reported at 11:49 p.m. Thursday, according to San Diego police Sgt. Alan Hayward.

The suspect told the restaurant's manager that he had friends outside with guns who would come in and start hurting people, Hayward said.

The manager turned over some cash, and the robber fled in a white Toyota Camry, according to the sergeant.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s, around 5 feet 8, with a thin build. He wore a black T-shirt and baggy jeans, Hayward said.
