SAN DIEGO -- Three men, two armed with handguns, robbed a Fry's Electronics store in Serra Mesa, police said Friday.

The robbers, all three appearing to be in their 30s, loaded up two carts with electronics merchandise in the store at 9825 Stonecrest Blvd. about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, said San Diego police Sgt. Alan Hayward.

When they were stopped near the exit by a checker who asked for their receipts, two of the men allegedly pulled out handguns. All three then walked out of the store, stepped into a vehicle and sped away, said Hayward.
