SAN DIEGO -- One person was stabbed and four were arrested during a fight and robbery early Saturday outside a North Park fast food restaurant, a San Diego police sergeant said. The victim and three companions ordered food at about 2:30 a.m. at the Jack in the Box in the 2900 block of El Cajon Boulevard when two men and two women in a car in the drive-through line challenged them to a fight, Sgt. Alan Hayward said. The males got out of the car and demanded money before they started to fight, Hayward said.
One young man was stabbed in the stomach and chest, and was hospitalized with nonlife-threatening injuries, according to Hayward. The sergeant said the suspects were taken into custody a block away and arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
