Motorcyclist Killed In Freeway Crash ID'd

A man who died when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle on Highway 79 in Warner Springs was identified Tuesday as a 52-year-old Ramona resident.

James Joseph Mann was riding his motorcycle northbound on the highway when he failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into a southbound vehicle north of Camino San Ignacio around 4 p.m. Monday, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.

Mann, who died at the scene, is survived by four children, two sons and two daughters.

No other injuries were reported.
