OCEANSIDE, Calif. -- One person was injured Monday in a two-alarm fire in an apartment complex in the southeastern area of Oceanside, a fire dispatcher said.

The blaze was reported around 1 p.m. in the 3800 block of Sherbourne Drive, said the dispatcher with the Northcomm fire dispatching agency.

The victim suffered smoke inhalation, the dispatcher said. The person's condition wasn't immediately available.

Firefighters extinguished the flames in about 30 minutes, she said.
