Crime Stoppers Seeks Fugitive Of The Week

SAN DIEGO -- The County of San Diego has approximately 18,000 fugitives wanted for crimes committed in the county. To help in apprehending these criminals, San Diego County Crime Stoppers has joined with the Regional Fugitive Task Force to develop a new fugitive apprehension program that puts the spotlight on one individual fugitive each week, Crime Stoppers officials said.This week's fugitive is Charles Thomas.Thomas was convicted of sexual exploitation of children and was sentenced to 20 years in prison before he was released from prison in January 2009 and placed on parole.He is wanted by the U.S. Marshal’s Office for failing to register as a sex offender and failing to contact his United States Parole Officer.Thomas is a 67-year-old White male. He is 5’10“tall and weighs about 160 lbs. He has blue eyes and grey hair.Thomas has multiple aliases: David J. Cohen, Mark D. McKinney and Steve Miller.Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to his arrest.
