SAN DIEGO -- Authorities asked the public for help Wednesday in identifying and locating a young man suspected of providing child molesters with access to victims while working as a baby sitter.Detectives believe the fugitive, a slim youth who appears to be in his late teens and is known only by the name "Nick," may have helped alleged pedophile Jared Ravin Yaffe, 30, find young children to sexually assault, according to San Diego police.Yaffe, who also is at large, is charged with multiple counts of molesting minors and faces upwards of 100 years to life in prison if convicted.Authorities believe Yaffe may have videotaped the crimes with the assistance of 24-year-old Aaron Zendejas, another baby sitter accused of helping Yaffe get to his alleged victims, police reported.Zendejas was arrested last month and has pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping for purposes of oral copulation, oral copulation on a person under 10, committing a lewd act on a child, procuring a child to engage in a lewd act and production of child pornography.Zendejas, a San Diego resident, was allegedly paid to allow purported child molesters, including Yaffe, access to the young children, according to SDPD Lt. Rick O'Hanlon.Yaffe faces charges involving three named victims and two other unidentified minors who allegedly were subjects of pornography he produced, Deputy District Attorney Matthew Greco said at Zendejas' arraignment.Officials urged anyone with information about any of the suspects or alleged victims to call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477. Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of $1,000.
