Search Continues For Missing Escondido Teen

ESCONDIDO, Calif. -- A door-to-door search for a missing 14-year-old girl resumed Wednesday, officials said.San Diego Sheriff's search and rescue volunteers joined others Tuesday evening knocking on doors and handing out fliers with information about Amber Leeann Dubois, who has been missing since Friday, said sheriff's Lt. Mike Munsey.Amber was last seen walking to Escondido High School Friday morning. Witnesses have told police that she was seen Saturday evening near Palomar Memorial Hospital, but police have not confirmed those reports.Volunteers were expected to gather again about 8 a.m. Wednesday to check neighborhoods around Rincon Avenue and Conway Drive at the north end of Escondido, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
