SAN DIEGO -- Authorities asked for the public's help Wednesday in finding a fugitive accused of molesting children with help from a baby sitter.Jared Ravin Yaffe, 30, is charged with 17 counts of sexually assaulting minors, according to court officials. He faces 100 years to life in prison if convicted.Investigators believe Yaffe also may have videotaped the alleged crimes with the help of 24-year-old baby sitter Aaron Zendejas of San Diego, police said.Zendejas was arrested a week ago today and pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping for purposes of oral copulation, oral copulation on a person under 10, committing a lewd act on a child, procuring a child to engage in a lewd act and production of child pornography."Zendejas has been identified as a baby sitter who was paid to allow child molesters access to the young children," San Diego police Lt. Rick O'Hanlon said. "One of the molesters has been identified as Yaffe. There whereabouts of Yaffe are unknown, and detectives are actively working to locate and arrest him."Yaffe faces charges involving three named victims and two other minors who are allegedly the subject of pornography he produced, Deputy District Attorney Matthew Greco said at Zendejas' arraignment last week.Officials urged anyone with knowledge of Yaffe's whereabouts or more information about his and Zendejas' alleged crimes to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
