Authorities: Man Tries To Steal ATM From Store

LEMON GROVE, Calif. -- A man attempted to burglarize a liquor store in Lemon Grove Friday but managed only to break a front door and damage an ATM, authorities said.The man broke the front door at Liquor Mart on Cypress Avenue around 5:30 a.m., according to San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. Anthony Ray.He also damaged an ATM inside the store but did not get any cash out, Ray said.
Deputies were reviewing surveillance video to try to identify the would-be burglar, he said.
