SAN DIEGO -- A sheriff's bomb-arson squad at Steele Canyon High School in Rancho San Diego, investigated the discovery of some type of suspicious package found in the principal's office and determined it to be non-threatening, a sheriff's lieutenant said.
Administrators had evacuated the office and some nearby rooms, and kept students and teachers inside their classes until the situation was resolved, he said.
