Motorcycles Collide Head-On Sending Riders To Hospital

PAUMA VALLEY -- A head-on collision between a pair of motorcycles on Highway 76 near the La Jolla Indian Reservation Sunday left two riders seriously injured, authorities said. The crash happened just before 1 p.m. near Pauma Ranch Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. The highway was closed in both directions. A Cal Fire dispatcher said both riders were seriously hurt and were airlifted to a hospital.
