Congratulations to this month’s Super Water Saver American Assets!

The owners of the Solana Beach Towne Centre in Solana Beach, American Assets, renovated the shopping center and incorporated several water conservation measures, including:

They re-landscaped to all low-water usage plants and mulched throughout the planters

They pre-plumbed to begin using recycled water when it becomes available and can implement immediately

They are currently using recycled water at their office complex, the Solana Beach Corporate Centre, and along both medians along Lomas Santa Fe

Their shopping center at Carmel Mountain Plaza is a test pilot for the Smart Irrigation system to be used in future develoment or renovation projects
