Former Foster Parent Faces Molestation Charges

SAN DIEGO -- A San Diego judge has determined that there is enough evidence for a man accused of molesting boys in the late 1990s to stand trial on felony charges.Steven Bimson faces a total of 31 charges involving three boys.A prosecutor says Bimson was acting as a father figure to the boys between 1996 and 2000 when the crimes allegedly occurred.The San Diego Union Tribune reported Wednesday that Bimson became a licensed foster-care provider in 2003.Prosecutors said he could face life in prison if convicted.
