Solo Crash Injures Two In East County

BARRETT JUNCTION, Calif. -- Two people were flown by air ambulance to Sharp Memorial Hospital Monday following a suspected drunken driving crash in the East County.The solo-vehicle crash on state Route 94, west of Barrett Lake Road, was reported at 3:53 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, the CHP reported.
