San Diego police are searching Monday for a short man in his mid-20s who rode away on a BMX-style bicycle after robbing a Little Caesar's Pizza in Lincoln Park.

The robbery at Little Caesar's Pizza, 220 Euclid Ave., was reported at 10:20 p.m. Sunday, according to San Diego police Sgt. Bob Dare.

The bandit entered the business with his hand under his shirt as if he was holding a weapon and demanded money, Dare said.

One employee complied and the bandit then turned his attention to a second employee who had walked in after the robbery began, Dare said.

The bandit demanded the second employee's wallet and then punched the employee in the face after the employee said he didn't have a wallet, Dare said.

Police searched for a Latino man, in his mid-20s, around 5 feet 4 and 145 pounds, last seen wearing a black and white-striped shirt with jeans and a gray hat.
