Cabbie Robbed After Woman Vomits In Car

A Yellow Cab driver was robbed early Sunday morning in the Morena area during a fight with a man who refused to pay his fare. The unidentified driver, who reported the robbery at about 1:20 a.m., picked up a man and three women at Jack's La Jolla and drove them to an apartment complex at 5395 Napa St., Sgt. Nemetz of the San Diego Police Department said. One of the woman had vomited in the cab during the ride and all four passengers got out of the cab without paying. When the driver demanded payment, a fight broke out and the man grabbed cash from the driver's pocket and ran.
The suspects had not yet been found.
