Gino Stabbed By Suspected Burglar

SAN DIEGO -- Gino the police dog was nearly stabbed to death last month, but he's already back on the job, 10News reported.
The Lucky Dog Boutique in the Gaslamp Quarter threw him a little "welcome back" party Monday.
Gino's pa rtner, officer Gary Macphee, said good training and luck helped Gino survive the attack by a suspected burglar.
Officials said Gino is not yet "100 percent" and will be on light duty for awhile.
