Man Hospitalized With Multiple Stab Wounds

SAN DIEGO -- A 21-year-old man was hospitalized Thursday with multiple stab wounds to his head, neck and arms following an apparent gang-related attack in Nestor, police said.The man was walking in the 400 block of Hollister Street around 11 p.m. Wednesday when he was attacked by two men in their 20s, San Diego police Sgt. Rich Nemetz said.The victim ran for help to a convenience store in the 1200 block of Hollister Street while the assailants fled in a red Jeep Cherokee, Nemetz said.
Paramedics took the victim to a nearby hospital with serious injuries to his head, neck and arms, according to the sergeant.San Diego gang detectives were handling the investigation.
