SAN DIEGO -- The Centre City Development Corp.'s internal investigation into allegations of conflict of interest has been suspended, 10News reported.The investigation was centered on recently departed president Nancy Graham.According to the San Diego City Attorney's Office, during her tenure as president, Graham was inappropriately tied to the developers of a high-rise hotel and condominium project on Seventh Avenue and Market Street.
On Tuesday, city attorney Michael Aguirre released a 2007 deposition in which Graham revealed she received $125,000 in connection with a Florida condo deal. The developers were Lennar Corp. and The Related Group.The Related Group was the firm negotiating with Graham on the project in San Diego.The deposition came to light in a legal dispute between Graham and a former Florida business partner.Graham resigned from her position last month citing family issues.
