Military Chopper Makes Emergency Landing

A military helicopter was forced to land at the Rincon Indian Reservation Wednesday night because of mechanical problems, according to a sheriff's lieutenant.The landing was reported at 8:42 p.m., said Lt. Sylvester Washington of the San Diego Sheriff's Department.The helicopter was believed to be a Marine aircraft, Washington said.
No injuries were reported, he said.
