CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- A man was stabbed in the arm Sunday during an altercation with a male friend, but the wound does not appear to be life-threatening, a Chula Vista police lieutenant said.

The stabbing took place in an apartment complex at 50 Monte Vista Avenue just before 2 p.m., Lt. Troy Peltekian said.

The alleged stabber drove off, and San Diego police were alerted to watch for his return to his South Bay-area house, Peltekian said.
