Police Seek Driver In Hit-And-Run Crash; Boy Injured

SAN DIEGO -- San Diego police searched Thursday for the driver of a vehicle that struck an 8-year-old boy, leaving him with a broken leg and facial injuries.The hit-and-run occurred outside 4080 Van Dyke Ave. in the Teralta West area around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, said San Diego police Sgt. Rich Nemetz.
The boy was running eastbound across Van Dyke when he was hit, Nemetz said. The driver of the tan vehicle did not stop.
