Jahi has been missing since April, when he disappeared from a Golden Hill playground after his stepfather left him there alone for about 15 minutes.

Thursday morning, his mother, Tameka Jones, told reporters that her husband, Tieray, is not a suspect.

"If there was anything that, the police thought, my husband had to do with it, then he would not be here right now. This is about my son," Tameka Jones said.

Our Redeemer Lutheran Church has agreed to sponsor a savings account for a reward fund for information leading to locating Jahi.

To make contributions, please contact the Wells Fargo bank on Broadway, in Lemon Grove.
