SAN DIEGO -- San Diego police searched Thursday for three men who robbed The Bumper Doc auto body shop at gunpoint in Kearny Mesa.

The robbery at 3727 Convoy St. was reported at 12:49 p.m. Wednesday, San Diego police Sgt. Kerry Tom said.

One of the bandits is a white male in his 30s who was last seen wearing a brown Hawaiian shirt tucked into black slacks. The other two bandits are Latino, also in their 30s, and were last seen wearing white shirts. One wore a blue shirt over his shoulders and the other carried a small handgun, possibly a .22 caliber, Tom said.

No injuries were reported.
