'Star Trek' Exhibit Lands In San Diego

If you're a fan of "Star Trek," the chair on the Enterprise is perhaps the most famous in television. You could almost hear Captain Kirk order the Enterprise to warp speed.

Star Trek the Exhibition is making its debut in San Diego. Visitors could see costumes used in the show, walk down the corridor of the Enterprise and even see the transporter room.

"I'm just blown away. I feel like I'm on a movie set. I feel like I'm really way back in time. I love it," said visitor Sue Varga.

For the press review, Michael Okuda, a graphics designer for the show, said to not miss the most important part of the exhibit -- the actual miniature featured in scores of episodes.

"This is probably the most photographed miniature in television history," said Okuda.

Next to it is an arch enemy -- a Klingon warship.

While visitors tour the exhibit, some might find themselves doing just what Spock did -- "live long and prosper."

The official opening of the exhibit at the Air and Space Museum is Saturday, June 21.

Admission is $24 for adults.
