L'Auberge Del Mar Reopens After Renovation

DEL MAR, Calif. -- The L'Auberge Del Mar hotel reopened Friday after undergoing a $25 million renovation.The project included the remodel of all of the seaside hotel's 120 rooms, a new lobby and the addition of a Waterfall Terrace with a 14-foot waterfall and the Bleu Bar, which features a fire pit and pool deck.Some of the rooms now have fireplaces, and the bathrooms have been completely renovated and now feature walk-in showers and marble vanities.
A new restaurant at L'Auberge Del Mar is slated to open in October with James Beard award-winning chef Paul McCabe at the helm. A 4,500-square-foot spa will open in December.L'Auberge Del Mar, which is managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, closed its doors seven months ago for the renovation.
