SAN DIEGO -- An 18-year-old woman was hospitalized Thursday for injuries that she suffered when she was struck by a sport utility vehicle while walking across a street, police said.The woman was using a crosswalk at McGuire Drive and Torrey Bluff Drive at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday when she was struck by a Land Rover driven by a 22-year-old man, said San Diego police Sgt. Alan Hayward.
She was hospitalized with a broken leg, Hayward said.
