RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. -- About a half-acre of river bottom vegetation burned Sunday morning near the Morgan Run Club and Resort in Rancho Santa Fe early Sunday, a fire department dispatcher said.The blaze was reported around 5:15 a.m. near El Apajo and Via de Santa Fe, said the dispatcher with the NorthComm fire dispatching agency.The person who reported the fire believed a house was threatened by the flames, but no structures were damaged, the dispatcher said.
