SHELTER VALLEY, Calif. -- A 35-year-old man killed in a traffic accident on a rural roadway south of Borrego Springs was identified Sunday as a Santee resident.

Dan Krivitz died when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on County Road S2 at mile-post marker 29 around 3:15 p.m. Saturday, said an investigator with the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.

Krivitz lived with his wife on Prospect Avenue in Santee, the investigator said.
