Search Continues For Missing Loma Portal Woman

Police continued their search for a woman missing for more than six weeks.

Authorities said no one has seen or heard from Rosa Lisowski since March 24. The mother of three was last seen dropping her son off at his elementary school in the Loma Portal area.

Police have focused their investigation on her estranged husband, Henry Lisowski, and even searched his home, car and boat.

Authorities said it is not unusual and not unlikely that a second search warrant would be served on a location. However, the investigation currently has very few leads.

Police paid a return visit on Thursday to the home of Henry Lisowski. Again, crime scene lab technicians packed up anything they thought might prove helpful in the search for Rosa Lisowski.

Police said they took a second look inside Henry Lisowski's home, which was overrun with cats and clutter.

Investigators brought some protective gear, and took pictures and took away more possible evidence.

Authorities told 10News that Henry Lisowski has made himself scarce, projecting a very low profile the last few weeks.

On Saturday, friends of Rosa Lisowski are planning a two-mile "Walk for a Missing Mother."

"All of her family's coming down. We'll all be there tomorrow," said Rosa's friend, Wanda Agosto.

A car was fundraiser was held for the children several weeks ago, and there has been a candlelight vigil.

Hope, many have said, is but a flicker at this point.

"It's difficult for the children … they keep asking, 'Where's Mom?' We have no answers," said Agosto.

The Walk for Hope is set for Saturday, May 10, at 4 p.m. It will begin near Rosa Lisowski's apartment on Midway Drive and will conclude two miles away at Ocean Beach.
