Local College Students Gather To Protest Cuts

SAN DIEGO -- Dozens of local community college students came together Monday morning to protest Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's proposed budget cuts to the education system.Students gathered at San Diego City College and then marched to city hall, where a rally was held to protest the $1 billion in proposed budget cuts.Under the cuts, tuition would increase, fewer courses would be offered and class sizes would also increase.Similar marches were held in Riverside, Los Angeles and Sacramento.
