Team Opens Home Schedule Against Carolina

SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Chargers will open the 2008 NFL regular season at home against the Carolina Panthers on Sept. 7.The team's next scheduled home game is Sept. 22 against the New York Jets.San Diego hosts the defending AFC champion New England Patriots on Oct. 12, and the Kansas City Chiefs visit Qualcomm Stadium for the Chargers' first AFC West home contest.
On Oct. 26, the Chargers and New Orleans Saints will square off in London, England, at Wembley Stadium.From Nov. 23 to Dec. 4, the Chargers host the Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons and Oakland Raiders.The final home game of the season is against the Denver Broncos on Dec. 28.For the complete schedule, visit NFL.com or the Chargers' officials Web site.
