Police Arrest Boyfriend In Stabbing Conflict

SAN DIEGO -- A teenage girl was stabbed in the back Saturday, allegedly by her 16-year-old boyfriend, who was arrested, a San Diego police sergeant said.The girl was driven by her mother to a fire station at Clairemont Drive and Cole Street shortly after 4 p.m., Sgt. Bob Dare said.She was hospitalized and is expected to survive.
A broken steak knife and blood trail were found at a nearby apartment complex, police said.The boyfriend was arrested about an hour after the stabbing, SDPD Officer Angie Zdunich said.
