One viewer sent this e-mail regarding a lottery scam in Canada.Received notification via e mail a few week ago I was picked randomly out of Canada to win $250,000.00 in US dollars. Did not respond because of my knowledge of the Nigerian Scams. Yesterday I received a check in the amount of $4,975 in my name and to call them first and send $2,950 via moneygram or western union. Upon doing so the balance of 4,975.00 will be sent to me.Suspicious I called the bank it is suppose to be drawn on and found out it is fraudulent. They gave me a 800 number to call and the recording says they were closed.
I am wondering even if the bank if fraudulent....Please help in getting this information out to the public, scams are on the rise now from Canada too.Await your response please.
