Car In Street Race Crashes Into Strip Mall Sign

SAN DIEGO -- The California Highway Patrol is searching for a street racer involved in a Rancho San Diego crash.A silver Ford Mustang crashed into the Cottonwood Plaza sign on Jamacha Road, according to the CHP.The Mustang driver told the CHP that he had lost control while racing a GTO.
The GTO's driver sped away from the scene, the CHP said.No one was injured in the crash.
