Coast Guard Issues Warnings As Storm Approaches
The San Diego Coast Guard had a warning for small-boat owners to take caution as a large storm approaches the county.The storm is expected to make the worst conditions for small-boat owners in 30 years with rain, swells up to 15 feet and up to 40 mph winds predicted.
The Coast Guard advises small-boat owners to stay in port until the storm passes through and make sure all boat tie-downs are strong, especially for boats in open water.
