Ms. Castillo:

We have received the results of the CPRA Audit your team conducted with Cal Aware. While we are pleased to see that our customer service was highly rated by your investigatory team's auditor, we are disappointed with the legal compliance score. We will review these results with staff in order to understand how the process worked. We will make sure that all involved in the CPRA process at the San Diego Unified Port District and its San Diego Harbor Police Department have a solid understanding of the law so future requests are fulfilled responsibly.

In addition, before your team contacted our agency, we had begun a review of copying costs allowable by the CPRA. We will adjust the current $4 charge if any discrepancy is found.
