Requests for public records under CPRA happen very infrequently and subsequently our staff sometimes forget the procedures for compliance as these are perishable skills. El Cajon Police Personnel strive to comply with all the laws pertaining to records requests and are in the process of making changes to ensure applicable information is readily available, as evidenced by the improvements made to our website and our automated press release distribution system. The El Cajon Police Department is open to sharing all appropriate information and welcome feedback from our community members. Our Department web page and press information system can also be utilized to provide such feedback and inquiries.
