2 Reported Dead In Mall Shooting
Deaths Apparent Murder-Suicide

HOUSTON -- Two people were shot to death in a murder-suicide at a north Houston mall Tuesday morning.
Officials said shots were fired inside a store at Greenspoint Mall at about 10 a.m. The shooting occurred at Body Luxury on the west side of the mall.Police said a man confronted a woman working inside the store and shot her before turning the gun on himself.Customers were evacuated while businesses closed their gates and were placed on lockdown.Police and a SWAT team surrounded the west entrance of the mall.The relationship between the shooter and the victim has not been released.Houston Police and the Harris County Sheriff's Department have a substation inside the mall, so officers were nearby to respond quickly.The mall had just opened for business at the time of the shooting so customers ran outside when they heard the shots.
