61st Annual Mother Goose Parade To Be Held Sunday

The Mother Goose Parade will be held on Sunday, Nov. 18.

Parade day schedule:

  • 9 a.m. Run With The Goose Fun Run

  • 10:30 a.m. Celebrity Red Carpet Arrivals begin

  • 11 a.m. Pre-Show Concert, Rock Concert with Richie Kotzen

  • 12 p.m. Pre-Parade Show featuring Katharine McPhee, Drake Bell, Monet with opening performances by San Diego Mega Stars, Cherilyn Mallari and Francis Florendo

  • 12:30 p.m. 61st Annual Mother Goose Parade Begins

    Large crowds are expected. Arrive early for the best parking and the best sidewalk space for viewing the parade. More street parking will be found South of Main Street. Please watch for numerous street closures near the parade route, traffic control and pedestrians.

  • Important Shuttle information is as follows:

    We will have 4 main pick up points in El Cajon that will provide a continuous shuttle as outlined below from 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 pm. on Sunday, November 18, 2007 (subject to change without notice)

    Shuttle tickets are:

  • Adults: $5.00 per person roundtrip (no one way tickets available)

  • Seniors and Children: $2.50 per person roundtrip (no one way tickets available)

    Shuttle locations:

  • Pernicanos Family Restaurant - 1588 E Main St. (corner of Main and Broadway)

    There will be one continuous shuttle that will go between Pernicano's Family Restaurant and Westfield Parkway Plaza (northwest parking lot on corner of Fletcher Parkway and Johnson Avenue) and (northeast parking lot on corner of Fletcher Parkway and Village Parkway).

  • El Cajon Trolley and Transit Center (across from Mossy Nissan) Main Street & Marshall Avenue

    There will be one continuous shuttle that will go between the El Cajon Trolley and Transit Center and Westfield Parkway Plaza (northwest parking lot on corner of Fletcher Parkway and Johnson Avenue) and (northeast parking lot on corner of Fletcher Parkway and Village Parkway).

  • Westfield Shoppingtown Parkway Plaza Northwest corner at Johnson and Fletcher Parkway Northeast corner at Fletcher Parkway and Village Parkway.

    There will be a continuous shuttle from both parking areas at Westfield Parkway to:

  • Parking lot on corner of W.D. Hall Dr and Main Street

  • Alley 100 ft. from First and Main Street

  • Alley 100 ft. from Safari and Main Street

  • Alley 100 ft. from Orlando and Main Street
