Overcooked Hot Pocket Causes Courthouse Evacuation

VISTA, Calif. -- The Vista Courthouse was evacuated for about 45 minutes Wednesday after a small non-injury fire broke out from an overcooked Hot Pocket sandwich in a microwave, sheriff's deputies said.Fire alarms went off in the facility on Melrose Drive around 12:15 p.m. Employees were allowed back in at about 1 p.m., and the public was let back in 15 minutes later.The deputies said the fire near Dept. 1 in the court's older wing was very small. Only one engine from the Vista Fire Department responded to the scene.
