Police Auction Off Unclaimed Property

SAN DIEGO -- Unclaimed property seized by San Diego police went to the highest bidder Saturday morning.
Hundreds of items, including bicycles, paint ball guns, fishing rods and reels, flat screen monitors and TVs, clothing and even a brand new bathroom sink valued at $1,600 were auctioned to the public, said city spokeswoman Mona Vallon.
