LEMON GROVE, Calif. -- A man flagged down a deputy Saturday after his jewelry store was robbed, police said. Police are searching for a man who robbed Walter's Jewelry Store at 7773 Broadway in Lemon Grove, Officer Nicole Weiss said.
The owner of the jewelry store flagged down a deputy at about 9:30 a.m., shortly after a man in his early 20s stole items from the store, Weiss said. The owner gave police a detailed description of the suspect, and police are looking him, according to Weiss. He is described as a clean-shaven man, about 22 years old, wearing a light-brown suede jacket and blue jeans.
