SAN DIEGO -- A new search took place Friday at the Spring Valley residence of a man accused in the death of a Santee woman, 10News reported.

Sheriff’s homicide detectives and evidence technicians returned to the home of Robert Carson where blood evidence was found during an earlier search.

Authorities said the blood turned out to be from Brittany Hart, whose body was found last weekend in the Cleveland National Forest.

Investigators are believed to be removing parts of walls in the home in search of more evidence that might link Carson to the crime.
